The owner did make me aware of some leaking in areas. The rear arms lifted and dropped smoothly as well. the rear pto turned freely at both speeds with no indication of leaks from the seal area. The loader also lifted the front wheels off the ground with ease. The Loader lifted and rolled smooth with no jerking and although I didnt have a load to test it there was no indication that the seals were leaking as it did not fall at all after a 20 minute inspection. I throttled it up and down and still no smoke from the exhaust. about 15 seconds the smoke cleared completely and the 3 cylinder sounded very smooth with zero noticable ticks or engine noise. After about a minute of glow plug warming it turned over and started with minimal puffs of smoke. It started in 30 degree weather without being previously started that day. When inspecting the machine I was content with most of it. i was initially a little worried about the hours but after reading more about diesels and lifespans felt a little better about it. It is a 1990 model year with 2600 hours on it. I believe it was a good buy, not a steal by any means but a decent deal from what seemed to be an honest seller. I just purchased a new to me Kubota B1750 tonight and was just wondering if anybody had any thoughts on the purchase either good or bad. Hello everyone, Its been awhile since posting on the site.
